KapLogic was incorporated in 2002 with the goal to fulfill the need for an easy to use graphical user interface for security personnel and that would seamlessly integrate disparate security products.

Soon Aegis was available and on duty across the country as well as internationally. From modest systems to sophisticated enterprise systems including our nation's capital, national and international ports and airports, banks, Fortune 500 companies and sea ports, Aegis is helping security directors and their security personnel better monitor, manage and respond to critical situations within the security environment.

From access control to CCTV, DVRs and intercom systems, Aegis drivers are currently available for more than twenty manufacturers and thirty different products. Within the security environment, Aegis allows the end user to lock in their freedom of choice. When facing the networking of disparate systems to considering looking to best-of-breed new products, Aegis allows full integration through a single interface. New products can be introduced while legacy systems stay in place.

The introduction of Aegis2 in April of 2007 maintained the same distinctive characteristics of the initial version of Aegis

     2) powerful integration of disparate manufacturers' security systems along with event automation
     3) straightforward, uncomplicated implementation
