With a team of individuals experienced and knowleadgeable in both the security industry and software engineering, KapLogic was incorporated in 2002. The goal: to fulfill the need for a graphical user interface easy for security personnel to use and that would seamlessly integrate disparate and competitive security products. Soon Aegis was available and on duty across the country as well as internationally. From simple systems to sophisticated enterprise systems including our nation's capital, national and international ports and airports, federal reserve banks, Fortune 500 companies and sea ports, Aegis is helping security directors and their security personnel better monitor, manage and respond within the security environment. From access control to CCTV, DVRs and intercom systems, Aegis drivers are currently available for more than twenty manufacturers and thirty different products. Drivers for new products and new manufacturers are being delivered on a regular basis as the need to integrate arises. Within the security environment, Aegis allows the end user to lock in their freedom of choice. When facing the networking of disparate sytems to considering looking to best-of-breed new products, Aegis allows full integration through a single interface. New products can be introduced while legacy systems stay in place. The introduction of Aegis2 in April of 2007 maintained the same distinctive characteristics of the initail version of Aegis: 1) easy to use, 2) powerful integration of disparate manufactuerers' security systems along with event automation, 3) straightforward, uncomplicated implementation. The significant new features and funtionality have been heralded by consultants, dealer/integrators and end-users alike. With the continuing need to provide security directors and their security team a simple tool that allows them to do their job efficiently and effectively, KapLogic will continue to lead the industry by delivering quality security related integration software and hardware products. |
